A New Experience: Raven Scott Creative
Introducing Raven Scott Creative, formerly The Botanical Studio
When launching my business in 2016 right after graduating from The University of West Georgia Art Department, I knew I wanted to bring something different to the local flower world in my hometown.
Hi friends! My name is Raven Hill Scott and I am the Founder of Raven Scott Creative, formerly known as The Botanical Studio. We are a creative floral and event design business with a nationwide experience in designing, putting together, and executing your event from beginning to the end. When I was in art school, my primary focus of study was sculpture and I implemented welding, woodworking, ceramics and encaustic painting into my work. I did a series of work that included welded life-size flowers, hundreds of cast ceramic and bronze roses, a series of bee studies in encaustic paintings and more.
When I was getting ready to graduate in April 2016 with my BFA in Sculpture, it was time to start thinking about what was next. For my senior thesis exhibition, Perennial by Raven Hill, I built a 10’ x 12’ greenhouse finished with pieces of found wood and donated windows from friends and family while filling the inside of the greenhouse with hundreds of white Tibet Roses. Lining the adjacent wall to the greenhouse were 484 ceramic carved roses in an ombre of 22 blue colors that I worked by hand for weeks on end and were finished in glazes I made myself.
Over the summer, I continued to work with my art mediums, did some pop up shows and sold various pieces on social media. During that time, I became more interested in expanding my knowledge on the flower industry and how I could get my foot in the door. I started doing some research and with my eclectic style, I did not find any similar styles to what I wanted to offer to potential clients. That is when I began brainstorming and The Botanical Studio was born.
Since 2016, we have offered Full Wedding Floral Design, Elopement Floral Design and over the last three years, we started offering Wedding Planning and Elopement Planning into our services.

Having began booking some of our largest events for 2022 post-pandemic, I knew it was time to rebrand and give the business a fresh look and a new name. The Botanical Studio was no longer serving our clients & showcasing our full potential in what we can create. As a creative brand who always wants to push to the next level, we are excited to bring Raven Scott Creative to life and share this new transition with you.
